RAGAZZI, SOLDATI E CADAVERI NELLO STESSO MESE

JUNGEN, SOLDATEN DND LEICHEN SELBEN MONAT

The history of the great war is often proposed through the listing of dates, place names and names of the Generals. But the true history is told by the gathered testimonies where the soldiers faced each other, where they lived, suffered and many of them sacrificed their young lives; testimonies that, after a century, emerge from the earth to tell the story of those young people, that can rightfully cry out in full voice:
THE BEST YEARS, THE VORST PERIOD.
The great war; men from all the regions of the same nation, that didn't speak Italian but many different dialects, difficult to understand; men with different cultures that despite the difficulties, on the front became friends and learned to help to each other. They saw for the first time the horrors ot war and sometimes they bad to shot their comrades to shorten their agony. Many other resigned soldiers fervently hoped to die and the death didn't wait.
Others were selt-injured by shooting themselves with the gun in not very vital parts of the body because they were terrified of facing the unknown.
In addition to the bullets, clubs, daggers and various explosions there were also typhus, gangrene pneumonia, dysentery and even simple infections were lethal between the soldiers and many of them were:
BOYS, SOLDIERS AND CORPSES IN THE SAME MOHTH.
Many of them died wondering what that carnage was for.
